Six-month renovation unveils Cashmere’s hidden gem
A dilapidated Federation homestead has emerged from a six-month labour of love as one of Cashmere's most impressive private estates.
The couple undertook a full interior and exterior repaint, reconfigured walls, installed a brand-new kitchen, and created a luxurious master suite complete with a walk-in robe and ensuite.
Refurbished Australian hardwood timber floors flow throughout, complemented by new carpet, and all fixtures and fittings have been replaced.
“There wasn’t an inch of the property that we didn’t have to repair,” Mrs Hoole said.
"We're perfectionists.
“We found a door that went nowhere during the renovation which revealed a massive area which can be utilised as another entertainment area or even accommodate a huge pool.”
Mrs Hoole said the property's name carries special significance - ‘Shyennavale’ was named by the gentleman who originally built the home as his forever residence, naming it after his daughter.
Now that the renovation is complete, the couple are looking forward to passing the property onto new owners who will love the house as much as they do.
