MORE than 400 Ray White and Loan Market members turned up in their finest at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre to celebrate the 2022 financial year.

Ray White WA CEO Mark Whiteman said the group was so very fortunate to have the calibre of people that it does in Western Australia.

“We are blessed to have the state’s number one individual based on sales value in Vivien Yap as well as the number one individual based on sales numbers in Elsie Corby. These two ladies have set the standard and shown us all what is possible, we are so very fortunate to have them within our family,” he said.

“The 2022 financial year has been a strong year in Western Australia and strongest in the 28 year history of the group here in the west. We saw more people recognised in the Elite and Chairman elite categories than ever before.

"Rising markets may lift everyone however it is only the best that take full advantage and at Ray White we are blessed with the best in the industry.

“The pandemic and the following strong trading conditions highlighted the enormous investment that the White family have made in Ray White. Cutting edge systems, a deep understanding of data and the best people.

“These are all areas that the family have driven and reinvested in to ensure that our members have the best tools and information as well as being the best trained and best supported agents in the marketplace.”

“We are delighted with the past year, one that saw the group as a collective increase its share of the Western Australian marketplace for the third straight year. We are once again the fastest growing market anywhere in Australia for Ray White.

“But we know that the work starts here and now for all of us.

“We know that if we want to chase our full potential we cannot celebrate for long, we need to keep improving, striving for that ever elusive next level.

“We know the best is yet to come and that our best years are still in front of us.”

Mr Whiteman awarded the coveted Ross Whiteman Cup to Vivien Yap of Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont.

“The Ross Whiteman Cup is given in recognition of an incredible contribution that has shaped and changed the Ray White Group in Western Australia. Five years ago Ray White’s presence in the upmarket and affluent western suburbs was non-existent and Vivien Yap changed that for us - her profile and sales success is market leading not just in the western suburbs but the whole country," he said.

The coveted awards saw powerhouse agency Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont once again take home the prize for Top Sales Office based on the highest settled commission, and the dynamic principal Vivien Yap was again named as the Top Principal in 2022 - for the fifth year in a row since joining the top group.

Vivien Yap was also crowned number two across all of Ray White internationally. It’s a stunning achievement for the hard-working agent who is known for her relentless work ethic. Ms Yap also won the Top Auction Performer as an individual and her business Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont also won the coveted Marketing Excellence Award, and the top Auction Performer Office too.

The unstoppable Elsie Corby of Ray White Rockingham | Baldivis was named the Top Principal by Number of Sales. Living in the Rockingham | Baldivis area for more than 30 years, Ms Corby’s passion for her community and genuine appreciation of all this exciting region helps her business to shine. Her business Ray White Rockingham | Baldivis won the Top Office - Number of Sales for 2022.

Residential sales operator Giles Tipping of Ray White Broome was named as the top sales agent of 2021 based on settled commission, while Brett Wilkins of Ray White Commercial WA was named the top commercial salesperson - settled commission for 2022. Vicktor Sutrisno of Ray White Applecross won top salesperson - number of sales.

Once again the long established business Ray White Karratha was named top property management office for 2022. This business is in the heart of WA’s mining centre and is famous for having a huge focus on its loyal property investors to achieve maximum financial results.

Angela Padula of Ray White Aldridge & Associates was named a Life Member for her 25 year contribution to the group as elite selling principal in the Perth hills and she’s a great mentor and leader to many people, some who are still with the group today.

The Damien Mills Community Contribution award for an office went to Kim Barrow of Ray White Denmark for his outstanding contribution to the local community.

“Kim was not only the mayor of his town Denmark, he’s well known as a community leader. He’s raised thousands for charity and for community groups. Kim has played an important role in the development of Denmark and he’s been a wonderful leader who has brought his children Heather and Andrew through into his now second generation business,” Mr Whiteman said.

Ray White Urban Spring principal Andrew Huggins was named the Top Business Growth - Individual, while Ray White Cottesloe | Mosman Park was named the top Property Management Growth Business for 2022.

The office with the highest amount of referrals was once again Ray White Whiteman & Associates. While Tammy Durham was named as Loan Market WA’s best referring individual based on the number of loans, Sue Vuong was once again named as the top broker in Western Australia.

The night also saw a number of gongs handed out for property management achievements. Allannah Crowe of Ray White Cannington was named Property Manager of the Year, and Doug Corby of Ray White Rockingham | Baldivis won the Property Management Business Development Business Manager of the Year award.

Emma Ockwell, Chantelle Howard & Amy Sullivan of Ray White Rockingham | Baldivis was named as Administration Team of the Year, while Casey Joseph of Ray White Cottesloe | Mosman Park was named Office Manager / General Manager of the Year. Monica Cherry of Cottesloe | Mosman Park won the Personal Assistant of the Year.
