Leading Fleurieu Peninsula real estate agent and auctioneer Joshua Bagley has taken the reins at Ray White Strathalbyn, after quickly rising as the go-to in the community over the past four years.
After making a career change in 2018 after numerous people suggested he would make a great real estate agent, Mr Bagley hung up his hospitality boots and joined the Ray White Mount Barker | Strathalbyn team.
“In four short years, my passion for the industry and my local area has grown deeper and deeper, and I am very grateful that this next step in my career has been bestowed upon me,” Mr Bagley said.
Mr Bagley said that the opportunity to take the reins from existing business owners Andrew Dickson and Ryan Keatley came at the perfect time, and means he can further tap into his core area of Strathalbyn and build a team.
“I have watched and learnt from Andrew and Ryan closely, and I am privileged to carry on their legacy for Strathalbyn while still working closely with their Woodside and Mount Barker business,” Mr Bagley said.
“Ray White is a household name and we are a high-performing brand in this region, so I am looking forward to extending that even further.”
Having grown up in Strathalbyn himself, Mr Bagley has many personal connections with his database in the region, and understands the suburb’s appeal more than anyone.
“Strathalbyn is in an interesting time of transition, with predominantly older established homes but an increase in new home developments which is attracting a first home buyer crowd,” he said.
“We are a small community of under 10,000 people with a country town feel, but we are only 50 minutes away from the city in Adelaide, making it convenient to get to the city but being far from the hustle and bustle.”
Mr Bagley said that being leaders in technology across the region sets Ray White apart from competing agents.
“We bring a whole other level of expertise and opportunity to our clients through our technology offering, while still maintaining a high level of personalised customer service,” he said.
