With extensive property experience and local knowledge, Allan Yan and his team are set to take the real estate offering in Sydney’s Norwest to the next level, since pairing with Australasia’s largest real estate brand.
Ray White Norwest will make up the third office for a group of real estate professionals, who already own Ray White Waterloo and recently, Ray White Eastwood.
The team consists of Eric Wei, Edwin Wang, Wen Huang and now Allen Yan who will head up the Norwest office.
“I had invested in the Waterloo office which has been a great success, so due to the customer demand we decided to open up a second office in Eastwood and now our third in Norwest,” Mr Yan said.
“I have been involved in many franchise groups, and I feel that Ray White has been the best at supporting their principals, which is most important to me.”
“The strong experience Ray White has in the project market is also very important, and the family name has a very strong branding presence across Asia,” he said.
Mr Yan started in real estate in 2013, heading up the Asia Projects division from Sydney in a franchise group. His experience has been around recruiting excellent agents, and selling Sydney. Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne stocks to Asian markets, mainly off-the-plan.
“I previously headed up a team of more than 40 agents, and we would often travel to Hong Kong, Taiwan, China mainland and Singapore on behalf of our developer clients,” he said.
“My career has ranged from selling a 250 apartment buildings in Rouse Hill, to a boutique 14 townhouse development in Castle Hill.”
“I have also sold many house and land packages in Kellyville and Box Hill,” Mr Yan said.
Mr Yan has also worked on the client side for many years, directly for a number of prestigious developers.
He brings with him a handful experienced staff members to the new Ray White Norwest office, whom he has worked with for many years.
“We have a great mix of sales agents and also property managers, who look after 180 managements and one office manager,” Mr Yan said.
“The Norwest region is full of opportunity, with lots of large homes as well as new developments, so we are really keen to bring our real estate services to the local community.”
Norwest is a suburb of the Hills District within Greater Western Sydney, located 35km from the CBD. Since a new train line was added last year, a lot of opportunities and jobs and people have flocked to the region.
“Since we started selling developments in the North West area from 2014, our clients now seem to be more local people in recent years,” Mr Yan said.
“There are less overseas buyers due to the pandemic and even prior to this, but there is a lot of demand from locals, to create a very successful marketplace” Mr Yan said.
“Our region is also renowned for the high quality schools - some of the best in Sydney surround us here,” Mr Yan said.
“I live in Castle Hill myself, and it is a wonderful place for us to raise our two sons.”
Over the next 12 months, the main goal is to focus on obtaining listings for existing homes in the area, build an even stronger rent roll and establish their new office as the go-to for all real estate requirements in Norwest and its surrounds.
Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch welcomed the expanded team to the network.
“Congratulations to Allen and the team; we have every confidence that they will take the real estate market in this region even further,” Mr McCulloch said.
“We’re delighted to have seen their incredible progress with their first office in Waterloo and second office in Eastwood, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow as they expand into the Norwest region as well.”
