Ray White NSW ramps up lockdown training
Ray White New South Wales wasted no time in launching a third week of online training for their network of more than 1000 real estate agents and property managers.
Ray White New South Wales wasted no time in launching a third week of online training for their network of more than 1000 real estate agents and property managers.
The online training program was yet another innovation born during the COVID-19 period.
The zoom sessions - focusing on all facets of sales, auction skills, social media and recruitment - were in fact open to anyone in the industry with people zooming in from as far away as Canada.
While the lockdown has prevented open homes and in-person auctions, demand from buyers has remained strong and means agents have to be agile and adapt to the change in restrictions.
Ray White New South Wales have released another jam-packed week of training with more than 20 sessions, all available live online and recorded.
Ray White NSW chief auctioneer Alex Pattaro (pictured) has been focussing on the shift to online auctions. The department was confident that if the network was well-prepared for online auctions, they would be able to replicate the usual result of driving as much competition to their client’s properties as possible.
The calendar also offered a session from Ray White Quakers Hill principal Josh Tesolin. Having sold 44 properties during the last eight weeks of lockdown, Mr Tesolin joined Ray White NSW Chief Performance Officer Tim Snell to discuss his winning formula of selling at the height of restrictions.
With the Ray White Group being the group of choice for up and coming agents and business owners such as Mr Tesolin, this session was in high demand.
The sessions have all been open to the public, with the aim of raising the standard of performance across the entire real estate industry. Mr Tesolin’s session was attended by 150 people, with one tuning in from as far away as Toronto, Canada.
Property management training has always been a large focus for the Ray White Group, particularly in times of rapidly changing conditions. The calendar featured an interactive focus with Property Management Business Development Executives Bernadette Coutis and Nancy Navarete in which they created a space for the network to share wins and challenges from the first week of lockdown.
The calendar also featured sessions from some of the Ray White Group’s top business leaders in Victoria, as well as The Media Coach Imogen Callister.
Another week of lockdown announced means another week of training, with more sessions scheduled throughout the coming week on sales, auctions, property management, recruitment and more.
This week will feature a session from EQ Minds founder Chelsea Pottenger on empowering high performance through mindfulness. Ms Pottenger is an international motivational speaker, an accredited mindfulness and meditation coach, a psychology student, and a proud ambassador for mental health charities including R U OK? For 12 years she worked in the corporate world and then a life adversity happened. After her life reboot, Chelsea commenced her studies in psychology.
Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch said providing the training was about more than just improving his network, it’s about improving the broader industry.
“I genuinely believe the sessions we run will go a long way in continuing to see growth and development across our industry in such a turbulent time,” Mr McCulloch said.
“We now have what I believe to be one of the strongest corporate teams in the industry, made up of specialists dedicated to providing bespoke and tangible support for our network.
“There are 13 members in my immediate team, making up just a small portion of the national corporate team which comprises over 400 members. Each member of my team is a specialist, providing support and training for different departments of a real estate business.”
The Ray White Group are extending the invitation to these training sessions to the entire industry via their social media channels.
