RAY WHITE NSW has beefed up its auction team in a bid to cement its dominance in the highly competitive Sydney auction space.
Ray White NSW CEO Andrew McCulloch today welcomed young gun James Hayashi to the corporate auction team led by Ray White NSW Chief Auctioneer Alex Pattaro.
“James is one of the most recognised faces within real estate in Sydney. He’s an acclaimed auctioneer and sells an average of 500 properties a year. An intuitive and tenacious professional, he has an innate understanding of buyer behaviour and extensive experience across all markets and demographics,” Mr McCulloch said.
A former sales agent, Mr Hayashi spent a number of years selling property in the inner city and eastern suburbs market before launching his career as a specialist real estate auctioneer.
Mr Pattaro said James Hayashi had a natural ability to read a crowd.
“His responses are second to none. Born and bred in the eastern suburbs, James’ experience as a sales agent in the eastern suburbs has afforded him a unique insight into the business and a strong understanding of the entire sales process,” Mr Pattaro said.
“Ray White is the clear auction market leader.”
Ray White NSW’s corporate auction team consists of Emma Biasetto, Alex Pattaro, Tim Snell, James Kerley and now James Hayashi.
“Our ambition is to provide our network with the best auction services and industry leading auction resources. We are developing a world class auction business as we know it’s the best way for all owners to sell in every market and in every price point,” Mr Pattaro said.
Ray White is very proud of that fact our total share of auctions across Australia and New Zealand was 25 per cent.
“We can confidently claim that we are the number one ranked competitor creator in Australasia. We are on our way to conducting one in three auctions within the industry across NSW,” Mr Pattaro said.
Buyer activity has actually increased dramatically in recent weeks. Our first real auctions in recent weeks have produced some outstanding results. In January Ray White saw a 50 per cent increase in the number of auctions booked to 625 with a clearance rate of 66 per cent nationally. Prices achieved under the hammer were on average 11.15 per cent higher than the highest offer pre auction.
