ONLY 12 months after commencing operations, Ray White Kawana has expanded to a larger premises to accommodate and service a burgeoning local market.

Proven Sunshine Coast real estate performers Brent Higgins and James Goldsworthy have opened doors on their new Ray White Kawana base at 6/9 Capital Place, Birtinya.

The experienced and successful Ray White Kawana and Mooloolaba directors said team growth, fantastic market share, strong auctions, the development of the local area and confidence in the Sunshine Coast market made it the ideal time to expand the Kawana office base.

“Due to a stronger market share and presence, and an increase in the number of our people on the ground we had to move into the larger premises,” Mr Higgins said.

“The relocation comes off the back of 12 months of success and records for personal bests between our two businesses. Following the ongoing recognition from Ray White Queensland for continued personal best months, it was a logical and confident choice to expand the base of our operations.”

Mr Goldsworthy said their team’s growth was in direct correlation to that of the Sunshine Coast market.

“Not only has our team and business expanded, so has the market we’re located in,” he said.

“Birtinya is under construction as a suburb, both in terms of residential and commercial, and with the hospital only recently completed there’s still a lot of growth to come for our core trading area.”

Aside from its proximity to great beaches, the new suburb of Birtinya is part of the Kawana Waters residential development, offering apartment living overlooking Lake Kawana as well as new house and land packages.

Mr Goldsworthy and Mr Higgins have witnessed an exciting increase in buyers from outside of the region relocating to the likes of Birtinya and Kawana Waters for lifestyle reasons.

“In December we saw the opening of the $87 million Stockland shopping centre, so physically we’ve moved closer to the growth hub,” Mr Higgins said.

“Our most recent figures show our local network had over 6000 inspections for the first quarter of this year, up on inspections for the last quarter of 2018. This just reiterates how strong enquiry is for this huge growth region.”

Ray White’s Coastal Living group of offices, which includes Ray White Mooloolaba and Kawana, has just wrapped up its third AAA auctions event featuring more than 60 auctions across the month of April.

“We’ve been buoyed by strong bidding, registrations and attendance numbers,” Mr Higgins said.

Auction dominance is just another string to the bow for Mr Higgins and Mr Goldsworthy, who are leading a team which has been recognised across the Ray White network for its outstanding level of customer service.

“Customer service and satisfaction has been a hallmark of our business and placing clients first is what our entire business fabric is based around,” Mr Higgins said.

Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland said the need for Ray White Kawana to move into a larger premises was unsurprising.

“We’re talking about two of our strongest and most ambitious leaders in Ray White Queensland,” Mr Warland said.

“It’s a natural progression for this pair to embrace the healthy Sunshine Coast market and grasp the potential of what’s on offer.”
