RAY White Group is continuing its charge full steam ahead in online auctions. The group’s new online auction method is now easier than ever to access after the Real Time Agent bidding platform integrated with the real estate portal domain.com.au to further automate the buyer experience. This means bidders can easily register for upcoming Ray White online auctions directly from the listing on domain.com.au. Bidders are now only a few clicks away from their dream home - all from the comfort of their living room.

The latest Ray White digital innovation will see the buyers click on the 'Contact the agent to register' which triggers the general enquiry form which will be replaced with 'register to bid' which when clicked links a user directly to the Bidtracker registration form for that property.

In addition, observers can 'follow this auction' which allows stay at home viewers to view the real time bidding action at auction time through the auction live link experience.

In western Sydney, Ray White Wetherill Park in New South Wales will have two online auctions this weekend including 4 Bluff St, Green Valley.

Wetherill Park agent Mathew Bell is representing the three bedroom entry level property at Bluff St which has a price guide of $580,000 to $620,000.

“There has been a real spike in interest this week and an increased level of confidence that has come back to the market over the last week,” Mr Bell said.

“There seems to be more stability and certainty around lockdown laws and this has translated into higher interest.”

Mr Bell is seeing both first home buyers and a few investors attracted to the house which he believes is due to the price point of the property.

The agent has also noticed that after several weeks of uncertainty, business is beginning to return to normal - albeit with a few differences.

“Looking back three weeks ago, we were going through our databases trying to garner interest and were meeting a lot of resistance but now my phone is ringing and people are coming to me eager to buy,” he said.

A four bedroom Sydney home at 159 Cecil Avenue, Castle Hill is going under the hammer this weekend with a price guide of $1.1 million. Selling through Ray White Lane Cove sales agent Hanny Japri, the property has had a mixture of interested buyer groups.

“Buyers have been attracted because of the area, there is a lot of development in Castle Hill and people realise it’s a good area to buy in,” Ms Japri said.

“We have primarily been seeing interest from first home buyers and families looking to upsize because it ticks all the boxes for them.”

In Melbourne’s north Ray White Craigieburn elite sales agent and auctioneer Trish Orrico is confident about the newly renovated family home at 5 Clacton Court, Craigieburn. The three bedroom house has had 31 groups through to date with further private inspections scheduled for the rest of week.

“This is a unique property as you don’t come across this level of renovation in the area often which has made it very popular,” Ms Orrico said.

“It’s a very family orientated area with lots of amenities for the kids and within walking distance to schools and childcare centres.

“Because of this we are seeing a lot of families and young couples just starting out but we are also getting older couples coming through so it’s been a real mix to be honest.”

In Murrumbeena, the Hamptons style home at 33 Gerald St will go under the virtual hammer on Saturday at 1:30pm. Ray White Carnegie selling agent Andris Crawford said the four bedroom home has been popular with families.

“We’ve mainly had families through with four repeat inspections, the interest has been consistent and very well received,” Mr Crawford said.

“The house is perfect for families with younger kids and very close to Kangaroo Park, the local schools, public transport and the nearby cafe and shopping strip.”

Brisbane’s Ray White Ascot office has five auctions this Saturday with principal Dwight Ferguson saying he is expecting some great results over the weekend.

Ascot sales agent Oliver Jonker said the outlook is good for the three bedroom unit at 7/72 Markwell St, Hamilton which he estimates should attract anywhere between two to four bidders.

“Most interest on the property has been local people looking at it as an investment or a place to reside while they renovate their own home as well as a few first home buyers so it’s been mixed,” Mr Jonker said.

“We’ve had 10 private inspections with more to come throughout the week. Everyone has been really good about the new processes and nothing has really changed except that they are now privately viewing the property or a virtual walkthrough.”

Fellow Ray White Ascot sales agent Guy Horsley is representing a four bedroom home at 39 Miles St, Clayfield which he said has attracted both local and international buyers.

“We’re getting three to four interested parties each week and had quite a number through our open homes before the new private inspection legislation took effect. There has been close to 20 enquiries on the property along with several online viewings,” Mr Horsley said.

“It’s a really lovely home and I think the Clayfield area is one of the best in Queensland. The property is a prime opportunity with a lovely 911sqm allotment and 1920s house onboard.”

Also going under the hammer through Ray White Ascot is 7 Sidnell St, Geebung, 32 Victoria Parade, Clayfield and 3/6 Riverview Terrace, Hamilton.

Ray White Ascot auctions can be viewed on request.
