    The five-bedroom five-bathroom property is known as ‘Waterfall Retreat’ and is located at 55 Trail Road, Maleny.

    Ray White Maleny agent’s Allister Millican and Justin Smith are marketing the 23 ha jaw-dropping property which has been listed for sale by negotiation.

    “I can’t think of any other properties in Australia where you can live next to two waterfalls,” Mr Millican said.

    Mr Millican, who has seen an increase in demand for acreage properties, said Waterfall Retreat was just 2km from the heart of Maleny and was “far more than a home”.

    “There is a 30 metre cascade over which the main residence is dramatically poised,” Mr Millican said.

    He said a separate fully self-contained studio was positioned for privacy and flexibility, equally suited for guests, extended family, a home office or an artist’s retreat.

    Owners Matt Kelman and Maja Edwards said the home was warm during the winter months with floor heating to keep the new owners cosy.

    “This is just a beautiful place to stop and relax and soak up the surroundings,” Mr Kelman said.

    Ms Edwards said: “It’s soothing, especially waking up in the bedroom upstairs and overlooking the waterfall”.

    The couple purchased the property in 2019 and are looking for a bigger property to run cattle.
