The three-bedroom two-bathroom property at 2A Willingale Avenue, Lockleys is being marketed by Ray White Glenelg sales executive Nazz Mina.

The property is set to go to auction on 16 August and Mr Mina said its “exclusive position” set it apart from others.

“With the prestigious Kooyonga Golf Course just behind, the outlook is nothing short of idyllic,” Mr Mina said.

“In a market where homes in this tightly held avenue are rarely offered and always in demand, there is a fabulous opportunity to secure a piece of western suburbs prestige.”

For sellers Debra Ryan and her sister, selling the property after their 87-year-old mum passed away in December has been an “emotional” decision.

“I actually found this property for mum and dad 30 years ago when it was being built,” Mrs Ryan said.

“I used to love walking down the street and dad loved it too. When it was being built I told dad to go and have a look, and he and mum fell in love with it.”

She said the property would suit a range of buyers including families with teenagers, or downsizers.

Mrs Ryan said the biggest drawcard for her father was the space around the property and being close to the golf course, and uninterrupted views from the backyard.

“The outlook to the trees, watching the birdlife and many sunsets was lovely, especially with four grandkids,” she said.

The home is designed for family living across all generations with the layout including a luxurious main bedroom suite on the ground floor, complete with a walk-in robe and private ensuite tucked away in its own wing for privacy.

Upstairs, there are two more spacious bedrooms and a bathroom, offering flexible options for growing families or visiting guests.

Mrs Ryan said having the downstairs area was “gold” for her parents.

“When dad passed away mum ended up spending a lot of time downstairs,” she said.

Mrs Ryan said the property had a sense of seclusion, serenity and space, just minutes from the heart of the city and Henley Beach.

“Everything is so close by,” Mrs Ryan said.

“There’s a great coffee shop across the road - dad and mum used to go there and they would get the most beautiful cinnamon scrolls.

“Even when my sister and I came to visit we would have one together - it was perfect!”
