Loganholme is a suburb in the thriving Queensland city of Logan. Named after the city and a 17th century ferryman by the name of Holmes, according to the Logan City Council, it is a suburb that is rich in history, yet incredibly progressive.

Originally a site for cotton and sugar plantations, the area has undergone many changes in the last couple hundred years. Progress may have been slow, starting with a post office, a mill and a school, but now the neighbourhood is thoroughly modern and fully developed with every amenity in mind.

When the ferries that gave the suburb its name gave way to bridges to accommodate the increasing use of motor vehicles, it was unlikely anyone envisaged the hub that Loganholme would become in the future.

Now sitting within easy reach of the Pacific Motorway and only a short commute to Brisbane's CBD, Loganholme is the perfect location for families who are looking for a good mix of heritage and progress.

Being a very short drive from the centre of Logan itself means that this suburb will suit many different families, whether you are planning on working locally or driving into Brisbane's business hub.
