Located among picturesque countryside in Scone, the property, named BHIMA, is internationally renowned for breeding top quality bloodstock.
The current owner of BHIMA, Greg White, says the land belongs as a horse stud.
“A serene place and the animals thrive here. If you’re animals are happy then that’s half the job done,” Mr White explains.
BHIMA offers 396 acres of extensively irrigated premium horse country, 24 stables, a veterinary hospital, foaling yards and 10 horse walker. There is 200 acres of Australian native eucalypt forest on the property and a potential residential subdivision block.
“The property is rich in history. The homestead was built in 1910 and sits among stunning gardens. With four bedrooms, a brand new kitchen, office, dining room, and separate guest accommodation, there’s ample space and privacy,” John Basa, selling agent at Ray White Sylvania Waters, said.
“The property also has a swimming pool, tennis court and there is another four bedroom home used as a Manager’s residence and a large office,” Mr Basa said.
Not only a successful thoroughbred stud, Mr White says BHIMA is also a peaceful home.
“From the moment you step inside the front gate you feel the ambience. It’s a beautiful spot, the pastures are rich and green and there’s a real tranquility about the place.
“You’re only three kilometres from the centre of town, but you’d never know it - you could be 100 kilometres away,” Mr White concludes.
