GROWTH within Ray White, Australasia’s largest real estate group, has always been a key to its success, and a corporate restructure in New South Wales has taken place to ensure this trend continues for the now, and into the future.
“There are two components to the success of our business; increasing the performance of our existing members and expanding our network,” said Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch.
“Our entire corporate team is centred around performance and growth, and these new roles create specialist leaders tasked with driving these pillars.
“I believe we now have one of the most experienced and qualified corporate teams that New South Wales has ever seen. It’s a team centred around two very clear goals - add value and grow market share.”
Mr McCulloch started as a real estate salesperson at the age of 17 in South Auckland and had reached Elite status by the age of 19. He then owned and led a Ray White business at age of 24, before leaving in 2008.
“Eventually, I returned to Ray White, joining the corporate team in 2015 to lead our recruitment arm internationally. In 2018, I was presented with the opportunity to become the Co-CEO for New South Wales, alongside Jason Andrew,” he said.
“With Jason now making the move to Queensland, I have the autonomy to create a clear vision of our ambitions across the state. My role is no different from anyone else's in the team. While I’m in a leadership role, I too am here to add value and grow market share.
“We're proud of the structure we’ve developed. We've never worked closer with our network than we do now. We provide a bespoke offering for every single New South Wales business.
“We understand that each business is different, each market is different, and the objectives of each business owner are different. We must mold to them, not the other way around.
“Our goal is to reach 20 per cent market share by 2025. We now have the structure to allow us to do that.”
Bridgette Collis, who has stepped into the role of Chief Growth Officer, said her journey with Ray White started eight years ago when she began working with a major recruitment agency.
“I specialised in the residential and commercial property and real estate sector, recruiting corporate, executive, management, sales, property management, and office support roles,” Ms Collis said.
“Having recruited for Ray White (both in agencies and corporate), I developed a relationship with Andrew.
“When Andrew took over as CEO for New South Wales, he approached me and asked me to join his team. Ready for a new challenge and able to clearly see the potential in Andrew’s vision, I decided to take the opportunity.
“I’m excited to work closely in the long-term with Ray White business owners, assisting them in the attraction and retention of good people. The role also ensures our offices have the right tools and knowledge to recruit and retain top performers and their staff.
“I’ll be relying on my strong industry network relationships in order to work towards market share growth, as well as working closely with our top performers already within the network.
“I’m looking forward to watching the ongoing success of agents and offices within the network, as well as being able to use my years of experience to assist in their growth.
“I have a passion for bringing agents into an environment that allows them to flourish and grow with the right tools, training, and support.”
Tim Snell, who has taken up the reins as Chief Performance Officer, said he started his real estate career at the age of 18 – working in his dad’s Scarborough office in Western Australia.
“The next eight years in real estate took me across Perth, New Zealand, and finally to Sydney,” Mr Snell said.
“I joined the Ray White Group in January 2018 when Andrew offered me the position of Network Development Manager. I first met Andrew when I was 21 and working alongside him in an onboarding role with another major brand.
“The reason I took the position with Ray White was to work under Andrew again. I’ve now been with the group for almost three years.
“My current role grew organically when we changed the relationship between us as a corporate team and our Ray White business owners. We no longer wanted to create products and simply leave them in the hands of our people.
“We wanted to be business partners and to be one of the key influencers of change in each business’s journey.
“My goal is to assist every business in improving their performance and growing market share by assisting in recruitment, implementation of systems and structures, and holding them accountable to their goals.”
