One of the owners, Shirley, said she and her close friends, who met through their children, had dreamed of buying a waterfront holiday home where their families could spend time together.

“When we came across this beautiful property, it was everything we were looking for - not only the stunning water views, but also the wealth of activities and facilities that kept both kids and adults entertained,” Shirley said.

Located just over an hour’s drive from Sydney, the property became the perfect weekend escape - close enough to be convenient, yet far enough to feel like a true holiday, Shirley said.

“When the families weren’t using it, the home was successfully rented out as an Airbnb, offering both lifestyle enjoyment and investment appeal,” she said.

Shirley said the property itself has a rich history.

“Its previous owner, a professional concert pianist from Europe, and her husband built the residence with a vision to host their close friends and grand corporate events,” Shirley said.

“The European-inspired design and thoughtful layout reflect that heritage, offering both elegance and versatility.

“What really makes this home so special is the sheer variety of things you can enjoy here.

“There’s a resort-style swimming pool where the kids would spend hours, and a full-size tennis court for friendly matches. We also loved the unique basketball and squash court combination, along with a games area that included ping pong and a pool table.

“For quieter moments, there’s a beautiful library with elegant wood-crafted stairs, while evenings often ended in the karaoke room or gathered around the bar entertaining friends.

“The grand piano is such a striking centrepiece and adds to the home’s cultural character. And of course, the private jetty with its boat ramp and boathouse was one of our favourites - perfect for fishing, kayaking, or heading out on the water.

“Every bedroom even has its own balcony with water views, which made waking up here feel like a true escape.”

Shirley said: “Over the years, the families created treasured memories at the home, often spending holidays and Christmases there together”.

“But as their children grew older and life became busier with new commitments, the retreat wasn’t being used as much as before,” she said.

“It’s such a special place, but we simply don’t get here as often anymore. It’s time for someone else to enjoy it as much as we did.”
