At 42 Fryar Street, Camp Hill, this spiral staircase is a sculptural focal point of the architecturally-designed five-bedroom home.

Brisbane couple Michael Beilby and Marieka Van Den Bergh are selling their home via auction on 26 July and said the “stunning” staircase which spirals from the living room up to the second level was definitely a standout feature.

At 13 Nelson Street in Annandale, this landmark property has undergone a major transformation after being built in 1890 as the Australian Contingent Hotel.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home features a curved American Oak staircase that really stands out from the living area.

With a price guide of $4.8 million, this masterpiece has been transformed from its historic shell.

It retains original features such as hand-cut sandstone walls, adding character and heritage to its contemporary design.

Check out the spiral staircase at this Sunshine Coast Coast home, which also goes under the hammer on 26 July - it has the wow-factor!

The home at 4 Buruwang Street, Birtinya was designed by Christopher Design Architects and built by Terry Bevin Homes.

The staircase is elegant, functional and makes a statement - what more could you want!

The design of the staircase is practical, yet pretty, and guides the flow of movement throughout the home to the outdoor area.

Meanwhile, take a look at this staircase at 2 The Coombe, Mosman Park in Perth’s affluent western suburbs, which sold in April this year for a whopping $21.5 million.

Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont principal Vivien Yap sold her five-bedroom Tom Brooking-designed home which was built around a central circular staircase that stretched up the limestone cliff from their nine-car garage.

The property sold in an off market deal - making it the most expensive home sale in the WA capital this year.

When the house was sold, Tom Brooking of Brooking Designs said: “The house was developed as a pure response to the complexities of the triangular shaped site with limestone”.

“The three-level home effortlessly cantilevers itself over a series of circular angled columns contrasting and juxtaposing the rugged beauty of the existing landform,” Mr Brooking said.

Arranged as a vertical cluster of living spaces around a central spiral feature staircase, the program concludes itself at the topmost level with open terraces and extensive views of Mosman Bay and the city beyond.
