Deniliquin’s ‘leaders in real estate’ are changing to Ray White Real Estate Deniliquin, expanding their business to now include farm property and rural sales as part of their services.

The long-established local business will join the Ray White group, donning the trademark yellow branding.

Ray White Real Estate Deniliquin principal Hamish Thomson said it was a natural progression for the business to expand into rural services.

“People can still expect the same great services when it comes to residential and commercial sales and residential property management, which will continue to be the backbone of the business. We’re the same team just under a new yellow banner,” he said.

“We’re expanding our services to cover farm sales and associated real estate services, which is a natural progression given the mix of skills we have across our very experienced team.

“We’re very proud to be joining a 120-year-old family business such as Ray White, which is 100 per cent focused on real estate and is leading the way in rural, residential and commercial property sales across Australia. They’re utilising the latest technologies when it comes to marketing and reaching an intended audience and we’re very excited to be able to offer this level of service to our customers going forward.

“The ‘Leaders in Real Estate’ has been our business’s catch cry for more than 40 years when Lester Wheatley and his wife Carolyn first started the business and having Ray White’s support will only enhance what we’re doing,” Mr Thomson said.

“Lester remains an integral part of our residential and commercial sales team alongside (new business partner) Sam Hall, while I’ll be focusing on rural property sales going forward.”

Mr Thomson’s agribusiness background includes 25 years’ experience in commercial sales and business management working for some of the largest rural businesses in Australia, a Bachelor of Management (Farm Business), licensed real estate agent, and extensive personal property transactions which started over 20 years ago. He also grew up on his family’s farm near Forbes in the Central West of New South Wales.

“We’ll be known as Ray White Real Estate Deniliquin, but our business name is actually Ray White Wheatley Hall & Thomson,” Mr Thomson said.

Mr Hall reiterated the rebrand only enhances the business’s services.

“We have the same office location and phone numbers, only our email addresses and branding have changed.”

Mr Thomson said it’s an exciting time. “Sam has hit the ground running and his business and marketing skills have already proven invaluable, and he and Lester have a massive network of local connections and knowledge. We’re stoked to have Sam as a partner and with Ray White and our expansion into rural areas it's certainly an exciting time.”

Senior property manager Sue Pitts, office and compliance manager Christine McMahon, director and commercial property manager Jane Thomson and receptionist and office administration manager Tanya Smith make up the Ray White Deniliquin team.

“We’re very lucky to have such a dedicated, professional and customer-focused team who all play a key role within the business.”
