Buyers are still in it to win it

WITH only six weeks left before Christmas, the clock is ticking for buyers wanting to settle their dream home before the festive season.

Christmas property shopping can’t be left until the last minute so buyers have been flocking to auctions in the hopes of claiming the ultimate present and across the country, Ray White has recorded an average of 6.8 registered bidders per auction.

Sellers are also keen to offload before the holidays with 413 Ray White auctions scheduled last Saturday while this Saturday, the leading group has a further 373 properties for buyers to choose from.

It’s no surprise that this month, Brisbane has taken the lead for highest number of average registered bidders with a host of interstate buyers planning their move to the sunshine state. On average, 9.2 bidders registered at a Ray White Brisbane auction this month alone.In Adelaide, registered bidder numbers have stayed high all year long and it’s looking like this month will be no different after starting out with an average of 8.1 buyers per auction.Sydney-siders have also been rushing to on-site auctions and the leading group has recorded seven registered bidders per auction on average and in Melbourne, there was an average of 5.5 registered bidders at an online or onsite auction this month.COMPETITION CREATORS - RAY WHITE'S WEEKLY AUCTION DATA
