Mrs Anderson, who is also a builder and designer, has lived at the property for the last six years with her husband.
Her four sons lived there for the first few years however they have grown up and moved on.
The couple spend their time between New Zealand and Cleveland, and while they are selling their much-loved penthouse, they plan to keep a second smaller apartment they own in the area.
“Chris and I have spent a lot of time in Queenstown where there is a lot of natural stone and timber in the architecture and design,” Mrs Anderson said.
“We were inspired by the rich colours and textures which create warm natural authentic spaces.”
Mrs Anderson said there were several standout features of the property including the copious amounts of private garaging and storage space (that can accommodate RV’s caravans, boats and cars).
She said one element, not obviously apparent in the listing photos, was the extraordinary degree of privacy, both acoustic and visual.
“Another is the attention to detail in the design elements. Every detail has been meticulously curated to the tenth degree, right down to the oiled bronze door handles and matching door hinges,” Mrs Anderson said.
