The Barakats engaged local interior designer Greg Harris to create their masterpiece, while the Calcutta marble in the kitchen and main ensuite was sourced from Gitani Stone in Sydney who imported it from the same quarry in Italy that Michelangelo created his masterpieces.
The state-of-the-art kitchen boasts an array of integrated European appliances with seamless connection to each entertaining area of the home.
The Suedestone flooring throughout the entire house - inside and out - was imported from the quarry in the heart of Jerusalem.
Although ancient in age, the stone complements the modern features throughout the house beautifully.
On the top floor you will find the palatial master suite and a further four king sized bedrooms with access to an ensuite and built in wardrobes. The remaining sixth bedroom and guest retreat are found on the lower level along with home gym and theatre.
Ray White New Farm principal Matt Lancashire said the Barakats were selling to downsize.
“They chose this location as they wanted the best views of the river and CBD. Their neighbours are also considered as some of Brisbane's most exclusive homes,” Mr Lancashire said.
“The Barakats love their home however now it is time for another family to enjoy it as much as they have over the years. “
Mr Lancashire said Dickson Terrace was one of Brisbane's best enclaves.
"The quality of existing homes and homes that are currently being built surrounding 1 Dickson Terrace is testament to why Dickson Terrace is so tightly held and is one of Brisbane's most desired locations," he said.
The expressions of interest tender closes on March 28 at 5pm, if not sold prior. |
