Peter & Sue Svensson purchased the business Dick Smith Electronics Geraldton in May 2005.

In February 2010 the business was rebranded as Leading Edge Electronics Geraldton due to a commercial decision by Woolworths not to renew any of the Dick Smith Reseller agreements to concentrate on large concept corporate stores.

This has resulted in a better purchasing power through the group but also a conscious decision to move away from the big ticket low GP items eg large tvs. These products have very limited life due to rapid model changes. Instead we have developed niche markets as the opportunities have presented themselves.
The development of our on-line presence has led to an increase in exposure for the business.
The three major agreements held by the business are:

• Minelab Certified Dealer
