ULTRA low interest rates are driving an increase in demand for lifestyle properties, and the Central Coast is benefitting, according to the local Ray White business owner.

Ray White Killcare Peninsula Principal Lea Turner said COVID-19 had prompted many buyers to re-evaluate their lives and seek out a sea-change.

“This has been the year when many people have decided to escape the city and Killcare is the perfect place for a secluded escape,” she said.

“We have received unprecedented demand from Sydneysiders and people looking for a sea-change in this COVID-19 era. People are saying they want to get out of the city and if they can work from home, then why not do it by the beach?”.

The owners, Brisbane-based siblings, believed now was the right time to sell their family holiday beach house at 38 Beach Drive, Killcare, particularly given the border closure between New South Wales and Queensland meant their families have not been able to use their ultimate holiday home much in 2020.

“Our parents bought the house about 30 years ago so we have enjoyed many family holidays at Beach Drive. The house has been renovated twice and it’s in a fantastic position in a premium location so close to the beach,” Mel Kettle said.

This four bedroom home is directly across the road from stunning Killcare and Putty beaches, and within walking distance of shops and cafes at nearby Hardy’s Bay.

Boasting a north-east facing aspect capturing the ocean breezes, and the sounds of the

surf, the home has the perfect mix of sunny interiors and indoor/outdoor entertaining spaces.

The home also features ocean views from the upper level, a serene outlook out to Bouddi National Park, and a low maintenance courtyard/garden planted with Australian natives.
