Welcome to Rita Galati at Ray White Yarraville

AUCTIONEER and agent Rita Galati is the proud new owner of Ray White Yarraville, just 6kms from the Melbourne CBD.
She has more than 13 years experience in the real estate industry and knows every role in a real estate office intimately given she has worked in them all.
It is with great eagerness that Ms Galati is determined to succeed in her own business when she soon opens her doors.
Ray White Victoria and Tasmania chief executive officer Domenic Belfiore said he was delighted to see Rita move into business ownership.
“There is no greater compliment that can be paid to us than when a business owner comes to us from another agency. Our people are the key to the success of Ray White and we are extremely lucky to have such a high calibre agent like Rita to want to further her career with us,” he said.
“We wish Rita and her team the very best and look forward to supporting her through her first steps of business ownership.”
Ms Galati said she was born and bred in the Inner West of Melbourne and still lives there now.
“I started as a Saturday receptionist 13 years ago and have worked my way up to buyer work, and then finally into listing and selling,” Ms Galati said.
“It has been a process and it has been fantastic. I appreciate the work a receptionist does, plus I understand what an administrator does. I have such great respect for other people in the office as I have done all their roles on my real estate journey. I have been there and I have done it.”
About four years ago Ms Galati called her first auction and hasn’t looked back since.
“It is sometimes rare to see a female auctioneer but this is something that I love doing and am very proud of. I am very hands on with everything. I take my clients through from listing to auctioning. Working closely with buyers through the sales process is also extremely important. I’m not just someone who turns up and calls the auction,” she said.
“We aim to be a one stop shop and can do everything from start to finish. My team and I will focus on the delivering exceptional customer service and achieving a great result for our clients.”
Yarraville has undergone a resurgence in the last few years and Ms Galati said her buyers were varied with many now coming across the Westgate Bridge to discover the opportunity in the Inner West.
Due to its convenient location to the CBD, local cafes and public transport connections the suburb is now attracting retirees looking to downsize, couples with children, investors and young professionals.
