Strong results expected at commercial in-room auction event

The Ray White Commercial NSW team are hosting its first in-house auction event of the autumn selling season, with five key offerings to go under the hammer.
Held in Ray White’s auction rooms in the Sydney CBD, the event will be led by Jason Andrew, one of the most recognised auctioneers in Australia.
Included in the auction event will be Ray White’s Live Online Auctions which will enable buyers to bid for – and buy – properties remotely.

“A key component of our in – room auctions is providing purchasers the ability to bid on line.  Our Live Online Auctions system is designed to allow anyone, anywhere register and actively bid on a property in real time,” said Jeff Moxham, Managing Director and Partner of Ray White Commercial NSW.
“The Ray White Group pioneered this system back in 2014 to assist their rural network which often has purchasers having to travel from very remote areas. Since 2014, more than 1,200 auctions have been broadcasted online, 13 properties have sold to online bidders totalling over $20 million, and 80 properties have sold to phone bidders who were viewing the auction online totalling $80 million,” Mr Moxham said

The first property to go to auction is 3/4 Charles Street, Parramatta; a ground floor retail/ commercial area of 63m² with two basement security car spaces. Joseph Assaf is handling the sale.
Up next will be 69 Davies Road, Padstow, a Metro Petroleum service station and convenience store leased until 2023 with two five year options.
The third property to go under the hammer is 10 East Market Street, Richmond, an opportunity to acquire a versatile commercial building in the heart of the Richmond town centre. Sitting on 889m2 of land with 327m2 of internal space, the building is zoned B2 Local centre and has the potential to lease as two premises.
Auction number four is 36B Fitzroy Street, Marrickville, a HAACP-certified food retail premises and office space in the heart of the Marrickville commercial precinct.
The final auction of the day is 258-264 Pennant Hills Road, Thornleigh, a site with street frontage to Pennant Hills Road, Bellevue Street and Railway Parade. Spanning 1,510m², the site is DA Approved for 73 residential apartments and five retail premises and is offered under instruction from Bradley Tonks and John Vouris of PKF as Joint and Several Liquidators .
The auctions will commence at 10.30am on Friday, 10 March 2017 at Level 17, 135 King Street, Sydney.
