Records tumbling in Mount Druitt
Ray White Colyton has just broken it’s own sales record in Mount Druitt.
The four-bedroom home at 35 Callagher St, Mount Druitt sold today for $1.3 million.
“There’s two sides of Mount Druitt and this is not where they filmed Struggle Street at all. There’s a lot of new developments here with homes on very big blocks which are very sought after,” Mr Elias said.
“The Lebanese community has built a Maronite church here which brought a new community to Mount Druitt.
“People who are getting priced out of the inner west are moving to the outer west to where you can get a big home on 1200 sqm with big wide streets and no traffic.
“Even though all the commentators are saying that auctions are at a two year low there’s no doom and gloom here.
“It’s true that the banks are tightening their lending but all the right properties are still selling, no doubt about it.
“Here at Ray White Colyton we have just smashed another sales record out of the park.”
The new buyer is a Western Sydney businessman who is re-locating from the inner west to be closer to his work.
“Has just relocated his very successful multi-national cosmetics company to the area and has decided to move close by. He and his family are very pleased with the home and the area.”
The same agent broke his own suburb record set in October 2017 for 63 Tidswell St, Mount Druitt which sold for $1.2 million.
