Ray White Queensland Annual awards night
More than 1100 real estate professionals attended the annual Ray White Queensland awards on Thursday 17 September at The Royal International Convention Centre.
The awards were a celebration of the achievements of the entire Ray White Queensland network for the 2014/15 year.
The biggest award of the evening, the Max White Award, recognised the individual whose contribution to the Ray White Group went beyond just their own immediate business – this year Dwight Ferguson of Ray White Ascot was awarded this accolade.
The number one office which was recognised as the highest earner in settled commission this year in Queensland went to Ray White Surfers Paradise, and the number one agent with top settled commission went to Sam Guo of Ray White Broadbeach.
The individual achievements didn’t stop there, with Shaun Darcy of Ray White Robina winning the award for top performer based on number of sales, while Ray White New Farm Principal Matt Lancashire took out the award for the number one partner in residential sales.
The category of profiles of courage saw individuals and teams recognised for embracing change within their business. The award recognises their willingness and ability to embrace leadership, courage and true grit. It also recognises those who have shown strength and banded together to battle adversity.
This year, the award for Profiles of Courage – Service Excellence went to Matt Gates of Ray White Surfers Paradise, the Profiles of Courage Team of the year went to Ray White Gladstone, while the Profiles of Courage Leadership award was taken out by Paul Hodkinson at Ray White Aspley and finally the Profile of Courage Revolution/Innovation award went to Ray White Ipswich.
Awards for excellence in marketing saw Christine Rudolph of Ray White New Farm take out the personal profile of the year, and the dynamic Sam Guo and Julia Kuo duo of Ray White Broadbeach took out the top spot for excellence in marketing property profile.
Ray White Maroochydore won the award for systems integration, while premises of the year was won by Ray White New Farm.
Ray White Surfers Paradise was recognised for their contribution as a team to their community and the individual accolade for community contribution went to David Bell of Ray White Rockhampton.
The Choice award went to Ray White Robina, who also produced Tina Nenadic as the individual winner.
Two awards were handed out for sales growth, with Ray White New Farm taking it out for the metro area, and Ray White Smithfield regionally.
Ray White Aspley dominated the property management awards winning Number One Property Management Business, Property Management Team Leader of the Year: Kathy Brown, Property Manager of the Year: Desirea Elliott and Property Management Support/Administrator of the Year: Sophie Read.
Other property management awards went to Ella Reid of Ray White West End Townsville for Business Development Manager of the Year, Ray White Forest Lake won Property Management, Business Development Team of the Year went to Ray White Ipswich, and Ray White Ascot won the award for Property Management Team of the Year.
Excellence in Auction awards were handed out to the best office: Ray White Wilston, and individual accolades for each region went to Sam Guo and Julia Kuo (Ray White Broadbeach), Syke Parker & Tim Davis (Ray White South Brisbane), Ian Cuneo (Ray White Ascot), Andrew Garland & Tom Garland (Ray White Caloundra), Gary Martin (Ray White Bundaberg), Mark Carmady (Ray White Cairns Beaches).
The rising star in sales award went to Kate Handley of Ray White Waterford, singling out the group’s young talent, and for rising star in administration the award went to Emma Clarke of Ray White Surfers Paradise.
Other awards on the night went to Sales and Administration teams of the year – both went to Ray White Robina, Individual Administrator of the Year in Sales (Lynnette Pinkey, Ray White Ascot), Individual of the Year Principal (David Bell, Ray White Rockhampton), Individual of the Year Salesperson (Damon Warat, Ray White Ascot) and Individual of the Year Personal Assistant (Kara Evatt, Ray White Broadbeach) plus many more.
