In this unique complex, apartment 4 is unique.

      Furthermore, this apartment has just undergone a total refurbishment including FREE WI-FI (ADSL2+), and a new Hi-Fi sound system with Bluetooth capability and direct connect for iPhones and PCs. The apartment has been painted all throughout with all new carpets and new wooden flooring. There is a new day bed on the patio and new dining tables inside and out all locally-made using beautiful timbers. In addition there are all new dining chairs; new single beds, new lamps, all new bathroom fittings (including safety rail for bath access), new TV in the lounge, a wall-mounted TV in the main bedroom, new TV unit and bed-side units, all new cutlery, all new crockery, and new glassware. New appliances include a Delonghi Nescafe capsule coffee machine, fabulous refrigerator, juice blender, sandwich maker, kettle and toaster. All bedrooms now have a modern (very quiet) ceiling fan.

      Solaris is an easy 8 minute walk to Clarkes beach, 7 minutes to the wonderful Beach Caf, 6 minutes to the iconic Top Shop and 12 minutes to the cinema, supermarket, shops, restaurants and pubs. At the end of the street, there is no passing traffic and no crowds - the best location in Byron.

      Clarkes beach is perfect for everyone. Set up your umbrella and use it as your base - in the middle of it all but away from the crowds. A short walk left to the patrolled swimming zone, to the right for the surfers to The Pass, and straight in front for the boogie boarders, surfers and swimmers.

      The master bedroom (queen bed) has a large walk-in robe and its own en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms (one with queen bed + one with 2 single beds) have built in robes with drawers and share a large bathroom with full bath. In addition, there is a fold-up trundle bed, and a portable fold-up cot.

      The kitchen is spacious, with a walk-in pantry and brand new next-generation refrigerator with running cold water and an automatic icemaker.

      This apartment also has reverse cycle air-conditioning, well equipped kitchen, separate laundry (washing machine, dryer, iron, board), and secure undercover parking (the dedicated car space can also be closed off to securely store surf boards and other equipment).

      Linen and towels are provided - just bring a beach towel and stock the fridge and pantry.

      *** The new owners (as of October 2013) say: We had tried many places above and below Brisbane, until we found ourselves back in wonderful Byron (we got engaged here 22 years ago!) Byron simply has everything for everyone of all budgets, all tastes, all interests and all ages. For many years we rented holiday properties all over Byron. Then a couple of years ago we stayed and fell in love with Solaris. Particularly our (then) small children, who have adored Byron and Solaris more every year even though our eldest are now at university. The positioning of Solaris, the quality of the building (solid brick walls mean lots of quiet), gardens and pool - and especially apartment 4 within Solaris is the perfect combination. So when one of our kids saw Solaris 4 for sale we couldn't believe our luck. Really, for us, number 4 is THE apartment in THE apartment complex. Ground floor at the back, direct access to the pool, close to the BBQ area, enormous private deck, 3 bedrooms, lots of space ... so we flew up from Melbourne the very next day. In January 2014, we stayed a month to embark on a total refurbishment of the apartment and hope that returning guests will enjoy all we have done. We just love coming to Byron, to Clarkes Beach, to Solaris, and especially to this apartment.
