Marketing Executive Selling Greenwich Family Hideaway

Marketing executive Craig Poole and his wife Catharina are selling their contemporary style home with glorious city and Harbour Bridge views in a family-friendly cul-de-sac at Greenwich on Sydney’s lower north shore.

The two storey five bedroom, three bathroom residence at 21 Wilona Avenue, Greenwich, is being offered for sale via auction by Desiree Hough of Ray White Lower North Shore.

The Pooles have lived in the home since 1998 and are only the second owners of the property, which was originally built post World War Two.

They undertook a complete makeover of the property in 2005 and it now offers expansive open plan interiors and a spectacular entertaining setting with a gas/solar heated swimming pool framed by a Travertine sundeck and set among landscaped lawns and gardens.

Craig Poole, the owner of leading Sydney marketing and advertising firm Accelerate Creative Strategies, said he and Catharina have loved bringing up their teenage sons in the home and the privacy and serenity of the blue ribbon cul-de-sac in Greenwich.

“With the boys getting older it’s time to try something different and we are looking at a lifestyle move to a down scaled home on the northern beaches,” he said.

Desiree said there had already been a strong response to the marketing campaign for the home, which is situated on an approximately 727 sqm block just a short stroll from Wollstonecraft station, Greenwich shops and the ferry wharf.

“This home offers a resort inspired setting with stunning city and Harbour Bridge views from its wraparound upstairs terrace and a lifestyle of outstanding convenience,” she said.

Desiree said among the features of the home is spotted gum flooring, ducted air-conditioning, immaculate designer bathrooms, a powder room and a CaesarStone kitchen.

“There is also a cabin with ensuite for use as a studio, office or visitor accommodation as well as extensive under-house storage,” she said.

The home is being auctioned on-site at 11am on Saturday October 31, 2015, and is open for inspection from 10-30am-11am that day and at the same time on October 17, 21, 24 and 28. Look out for one or advertised twilight inspections as well.
