Having made the move to Australia from her homeland of Ireland, Kate decided to make Darwin her new home after traveling around the nation. Like many who find Darwin and make it their place of residence, Kate never anticipated staying in the territory as long as she has, but she sure glad she did.

Kate enjoys the outdoors and has taken up cycling since moving to the NT. She also enjoys spending time with her partner, socialising with friends and casting off a line in one of Darwin’s many majestic fishing spots.

A passion for architecture sparked to her interest in property, and eventual promoted her to seek a real estate career. With history in a diversity of fields, her experience in both customer service and administration grants her insight into her position as a property manager. Her strong work ethic and organizational skills made working with client specific needs, and functioning as a member of a team as straightforward experience. The position came naturally to Kate, as she made her impact as a contributing member of the team felt from day one.

Kate makes sure she is on top of every part of her portfolio. From landlord, current tenant and the property itself, the greater her understanding of what she manages the faster she can address and resolve issues as they arise.


As a first time landlord I was unsure and slightly nervous at the thought of engaging someone else to manage our property, however all those concerns were quickly washed away once Kate came along. Kate the great - agent! Our luck came in January this year when Kate took over the marketing of our townhouse to try and find us new tenants. This was to be no easy task as the market was tightening hence tenants were hard to identify let alone be persuaded that ours was a superior property in a high price bracket. Before starting her campaign she organised. In concert with us, repairs to be done by selected tradesmen , thus demonstrating her knowledge of the local skill scene and her ability to communicate with tradespeople. Once the repairs were complete she was ready to move forward. A very comprehensive and well researched and targeted advertising campaign began. She identified the major selling points of our townhouse and matched these with the specific requirements of prospective tenants. Eg space, light and proximity to the beach. Kate then secured us very suitable tenants - happiness all round - we got new tenants and they got a top property at a reasonable price! Kate Nolan managers two properties for us and we couldn't be happier. After having endless dramas with another agent and one of our rental property's. Kate is a breath of fresh air to work with. She has been very professional, responsive and supportive throughout the process of having to turn our property around from being left totally crashed. To Whom It May Concern I write in relation to the recent interaction I have had with the staff of Ray White Darwin - specifically Kate Nolan. After my previous tenants departed on 1/1/17 - an awkward date as many of your staff were on leave and my property was awaiting a new staff member to take it over from Carly Nasser - Kate rejoined your staff and with the help of Annie immediately set in train preparations for a new lease . The property was a $600pw townhouse opposite Beagle Gulf and boasted a myriad of features inside and out. In addition the complex included a resort style pool and mini golf! It was, however 20 years old and in need of updating. Kate and I inspected the property , identified items in need of rectification and she immediately set about organizing contractors to undertake the work . As a result of her personal knowledge of the property she was able to identify prospective tenants and most importantly secure the new lease in a remarkably short time. Despite the new weekly rent being considerably lower than the previous rental rate her in depth market research showed me that the new amount was what the current market was dictating. In my dealings with Kate I found her to be exceptionally collaborative, always available, very respectful, polite and yet self assured which gave me a lot of confidence in her skill as an agent! In conclusion I can report that Kate has a special knack of listening to a landlord's perspective whilst being able to persuade me to agree to fix what needed fixing!
