Rural Salesperson, Ray White Rural Pittsworth
Joe grew up in western Queensland on one of the largest sheep stations in Australia at that time, which my parents managed for 20 years in the 50’s & 60’s, gave me a lot of experience in large station management and livestock operations in drought and good seasons.
After leaving a boarding school in the early 60’s and working on a Quilpie family property for 18 months, then I joined a large pastoral company as a Jackeroo. I held positions in the Quilpie, Blackall, Mitchell, Inglewood and Cloncurry and then later at Nyngan, where I managed an 80,000 acre mixed sheep, cattle and grain property until it was sold in 1983.
My family then moved to the Boggabri area where we operated a small mixed farm, working off farm, shearing and contract work to help school our daughters.
Once we sold our property, we moved to Tamworth and I got involved in the Stock Feed business, managing a business, before starting a new Stock feed business, during this time I gained great experience in buying and selling grain, lucerne hay and prepared stock feeds to all parts of northern NSW. I really enjoyed feeding clients livestock during drought and good seasons, to promote livestock health and weight gains with affordable costs.
Moved back to Queensland in early 2008, I completed a Realestate salesperson course, have really enjoyed the opportunity to help promote the sale of clients properties and livestock and have over the last few years gained some good friendships with clients. I will be able to bring a large number of diverse properties to my new position and with the support of the Ray White network have some successful outcomes.
I am looking forward to joining the Ray White Rural team at Pittsworth, with Matt Cleary, James Croft and their experienced staff.
