First ever Chinese Property Expo
The number one Chinese property publication in Sydney will host the first ever Chinese Property Expo held in Australia on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October in Sydney’s vibrant Chinatown.
This inaugural event will see over 5,000 people attend and Australia’s largest property group, Ray White will be the only residential property company represented by two key offices – Ray White Southbank (Victoria) and Ray White Rural Sydney.
Brian White, Chairman of the Ray White Group says they are taking their contact with China very seriously.
“This is a great initiative for the Australian property market and comes at a perfect time with the increased interest from Chinese buyers entering the Australian market,” he said.
“It was calculated recently that Chinese investors spent $4.2 billion on Australian property. This is a dramatic increase over the last four years and shows an exciting shift in the real estate market.”
The Chinese community in Australia is significantly growing. Mandarin is the second most used language in Australia, surpassing the more-dominant Italian language used in Australia up until recently.
It’s been several months now since the Ray White Group responded to this buyer demographic shift and became the first Australian property company to join with China’s largest property website, Juwai.com.
Here they place listings that may be attractive to the Chinese buyer, a sector becoming increasingly motivated in the Australian property market
“I look forward to the success of this initiative and am pleased to say Ray White will continue to find new ways to support Chinese property buyers in Australia,” said Brian White.
This event is free to enter and will be held at Number one Dixon Street Shopping Centre, located at 1 Dixon Street, Haymarket. Friday night from 7.30pm and Saturday and Sunday – 9.30am – 7.30pm.
