Congratulations to all our REB award finalists

THE Ray White Group is excited to announce that it – along with many of its members and offices – have been selected as finalists in the prestigious Real Estate Business Awards for 2018.

For the third year running, the Ray White Group has been named as a finalist in the Real Estate Business Awards in the category of Major Network of the Year – 40 or more offices. The Ray White Group has won this coveted award for the last two years in a row.

Some of our biggest and most successful offices – Ray White Double Bay | Ray White New Farm | Ray White Balwyn are all vying to take out the most hotly contested award of Sales Office of the Year – Metropolitan.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, the Real Estate Business awards recognises the achievements of the industry’s leading agents, networks, innovators, lenders and property managers across 27 categories.

Founded in 1902, Ray White Group is a market leading real estate company with more than 1000 offices in its international network and last year it sold a record $45 billion worth of property.

The business was born 116 years ago in a tin shed and has grown to hold a very unique place in Australian corporate history.

The family-owned and led business has strong networks across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, with offices in Hong Kong, China, the Middle East and Papua New Guinea.

Group chairman Brian White said growth was the oxygen for a business like Ray White. “Growth may be in our DNA but our purpose is to provide the best environment for our agents to thrive in,” Mr White said.

“We are not interested in getting bigger for the sake of it, we seek to attract quality leaders and market share.”

Ray White Balwyn picked up four finalist nominations, while Ray White Double Bay collected three finalist nominations, and Ray White New Farm received two. New to the Ray White Group, Vivien Yap of Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont has been nominated as the sales agent of the year.

Ray White Aspley Group business development manager Wayde Hildrew has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the BDM of the Year – Property Management at the nationally recognised 2018 Real Estate Business Awards by Momentum Media.

REB managing editor Tim Neary said the awards were the biggest event of the year in Australian real estate and a benchmark for success.

“The awards are the most sought-after business awards for the real estate industry in Australia,” Mr Neary said.

“It is a great way to recognise the industry’s high-performance agents, property managers, BDMs and businesses, those who are able to flourish in the face of the industry’s ongoing challenges.”

Mr Neary said the REB Awards recognises and rewards those who are driving real estate in Australia into the future.

The winners will be announced at The Star, Sydney on Thursday, 19 July 2018.
