In his spare time, Ben loves working on his golf handicap, watching his beloved Western Bulldogs and dining at some of Melbourne's finest restaurants to keep up with the latest gastronomic trends. Swapping the exquisite aroma of truffles for the smell of freshly polished floorboards has been a really satisfying and successful journey for Ben Thomas.
Before we sold through Ray White we tried selling our property through another agent. The previous agent continued to disappoint us with their comments of 'not many people through today' or ' let's remain positive we're sure you won't have any problem selling'. Due to the lack of interest in our property we failed to sell and hence did not renew the agents' contract when expired.Not knowing which agent to try next we were met with Matt Morris from Ray White Ferntree Gully at our newly purchased home only to express how disgruntled we were at not being able to sell our current property.He suggested we meet with his colleague Ben Thomas who is very experienced at selling homes. Ben was great! He was very personable, straight to the point about his selling techniques and we could tell very soon on into our conversations that he had strong negotiation skills and at the end of the day that's what will get a good price when selling. He kept us informed at all times and was very approachable when we had questions, needed info etc. He wasnt interested in 'who else we had seen' (other agents) etc which we got a few times and were put off immediately.
